Columbia MD (American Heart Association) Basic Life Support Instructor Course (11-14-2026)

The BLS Instructor Course prepares the participant to teach Basic Life Support to Health Care workers. As a Basic Life Support Instructor, you will teach and prepare students how to perform BLS as part of a multi rescue team with other trained responders, also with a focus on the cardiac chain of survival. and how to perform High Quality BLS for an Adult child and Infant.

Pre class requirement:

Be accepted by a training center

Must be a BLS provider

Must Complete the online BLS Instructor Essentials, purchased directly from the AHA. (elearning.heart.org)

Each student musr complete a class monitor of their first class ( Each student must have all training materials for their class monitor)
